It depends. Every type of wood we use is 100% kiln dried and we take every precautionary step to ensure that it doesn’t happen. But, wood will naturally expand and contract. Therefore, it really depends on the humidity and temperature of the environment. We will inform you of the proper techniques and steps to take to ensure the best practice is taken for each different application. It’s always best to keep your environment consistent
without extreme highs and lows.
No! Our concept is that there isn’t any reason why fine furniture can’t be a custom built-in experience! We love being creative and think we can add a lot of value to a home or commercial space.

Absolutely. We’ve made art with raw materials from paint, concrete, wood, and steel. And sometimes all separate. We’ve made art 750 lbs
and installed them 20’ in the air!
Yep. We’ve made some pretty cool stuff. And, a fireplace is something we can and have done as well!

Yes, we can make anything come to life. And, outside is a great opportunity to create curb appeal. Some things we love creating are
mailboxes, signs, tables, and benches.
It all depends on your expectations. Finnu doesn’t make an inferior product. And our range is limited by what you expect. Everything goes into consideration. Types of raw materials, design, labor and complexity.

No. We like using reclaimed woods for its unique characteristics, historical background, and sustainability. However, we love all kinds
of woods and can source those sustainably as well.
Yes. We have traveled as far as the Minneapolis area and all the way up into Canadian lakes country building a sauna in the middle of
nowhere. We can travel anywhere.

There isn’t a simple answer to this. Taking down barns is a lot of work and there are professionals who do it well. However, we would love to work something out where we could handpick before you do tear it down.
Because we are so dang creative, we have naturally dabbled in this, but if you want nothing but custom built-ins and furniture, etc., I suppose it organically would happen. And we’d rock it for you! But we are not home designers. At some point we would recommend a few home designers we love working with that will fit your wants and needs.
At this point, we do not sell wood for retail. Unless by popular demand or the industry leads us there, we do not have future plans at this time to pursue lumber retail. We could sure recommend a few places however!
